Brenda Kulhanek
Dr. Brenda Kulhanek has been an adjunct professor at Walden University since 2011. In addition to her senior contributing professor role at Walden, she was previously the AVP of Clinical Education for one of the largest health care systems in the United States, where she created a nurse residency program implemented in over 180 hospitals. Dr. Kulhanek was the 2017 president of the American Nursing Informatics Association (ANIA), and a co-found and past president of ANPD of Middle Tennessee. She is a frequent presenter at nursing informatics conferences and recently co-authored a textbook for training health information technology, has contributed to several nursing informatics textbooks, and designed curriculum for the Office of the National Coordinator (ONS) Workforce Development Program.
