Brenda Hudson is lead faculty of Walden University’s Doctoral Writing Workshop series, for which she served as curriculum developer and subject matter expert. Dr. Hudson has a PhD in rhetoric and scientific communication from the University of Minnesota and a master's degree in journalism from Boston University. She worked as a journalist at the BBC World Service Television in London, England, and at NBC News in London and New York. Since returning to the Midwest, she has worked as a medical writer at the University of Minnesota and at the medical device company Medtronic, and as a dissertation editor at Walden University. Dr. Hudson also teaches creative writing at the Loft Literary Center.
