Brenda Hudson
Dr. Brenda Hudson has been with Walden University since 2014. In her role as senior core faculty member in the Office of Academic Support and Instructional Services (OASIS), she teaches doctoral-level students in the SKIL writing workshop series, for which she served as curriculum developer and subject matter expert. Prior to her faculty role at Walden University, Dr. Hudson also served as dissertation editor.
She holds a PhD in rhetoric and scientific communication from the University of Minnesota and an M.S. in journalism from Boston University. She worked as a journalist at the BBC World Service Television in London, England, and at NBC News in London and New York. Since returning to the Midwest, she has worked as a medical writer at the University of Minnesota and at the medical device company Medtronic. Dr. Hudson also teaches creative writing at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis, MN and volunteers as a reading instructor for struggling students.
