Dr. Brandy Brady is a passionate educator, counselor, and scholar who currently serves as the High School Consultant for School Counseling, Advisement, and Crisis Response in her school district. With nearly two decades of experience in education, Dr. Brady brings a multifaceted perspective shaped by her work as a former school counselor, academic researcher, professor, and mentor to doctoral candidates.

At the heart of Dr. Brady’s work is a deep commitment to student advocacy and equity. She specializes in supporting students' academic achievement and emotional wellness, partnering with educators, families, and community stakeholders to ensure every student has access to the resources they need to thrive. Her leadership supports district-wide initiatives focused on access, inclusion, and holistic student development.

Dr. Brady holds a Ph.D. in Human Services with a specialization in Family Studies and Intervention Strategies and a Master of Philosophy from Walden University. She also earned an Education Specialist degree in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama and both her M.A. in School Counseling and B.A. in Psychology from Hampton University—affectionately known as her "Home by the Sea."

An active voice in the profession, Dr. Brady has presented at regional counseling conferences and local educational forums. Her work has been published in Human Services Today, and her clinical interests include secondary traumatic stress, compassion fatigue, burnout, and culturally responsive counseling practices in K–12 settings.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Dr. Brady serves as contributing faculty in the School of Human Services at Walden University. She is a proud advocate for self-care and work-life balance, finding joy in travel, reading, music, and quality time with her husband and their two vibrant children.
