Brandy Brady
Dr. Brandy Brady joined Walden University in December 2022 as a contributing faculty member in the School of Human Services. She currently serves as the High School Consultant for School Counseling, Advisement, and Crisis Response within her school district. With 18 years of experience in the field of school counseling, Dr. Brady is dedicated to advocating for students’ academic and emotional well-being. She collaborates closely with faculty and staff to promote equity and access while partnering with community stakeholders to enhance available resources.
Dr. Brady has presented at regional professional counseling conferences, as well as local and district-level events, and her work has been published in Human Services Today magazine. Her clinical interests include secondary traumatic stress, burnout, compassion fatigue, education, and school counseling.
She holds a Ph.D. in Human Services with a specialization in Family Studies and Intervention Strategies from Walden University, an Ed.S. in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama, and both an M.A. and B.A. from Hampton University.
