Brad Beyer
Dr. Beyer has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Temple University, a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Certificate of Graduate Study in the Psychophysiological Detection of Deception from the Department of Defense Polygraph Institute, a Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychophysiology from Argosy University, and a Ph.D. in Psychology with a Forensic Specialization from Walden University. He has been a public servant for the majority of his adult life starting with military service as an Infantryman in the United States Army. He has been working in federal law enforcement since 1996. As a federal law enforcement officer, Dr. Beyer has investigated a wide variety of criminal and national security violations. He is also a certified polygraph examiner and a crisis negotiator. Dr. Beyer's areas of academic interest include interviewing and interrogation, false confessions, violent crime, counterintelligence, and crisis negotiation.
