Bal Pannu
Dr. Baljit Pannu has been in nursing for over 15 years, with formal training in nursing education. Dr. Pannu started her career in bedside nursing, which involved both long-term care and maternal-newborn health. She later moved on to higher education roles in nursing foundations, pathophysiology, and pharmacology in online and on-campus capacities. She co-developed first-year experience courses for new undergraduate students in her higher education role. She teaches Teaching Learning Strategies, Interprofessional Organization, and Practicum for the MSN Nursing Executive Track at Walden. Dr. Pannu completed her doctoral dissertation to improve postpartum discharge education and incorporate postpartum warning signs. In 2020, she was recognized by the Alpha Chi National Honor Society for her academic achievements. She continues to expand her credentials through a variety of professional development activities.
