Ashley Fields, M.S. CCC-SLP, Ed.D. grew up in a farming community in Northwest Missouri. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders in 2006 and Masters of Science in Communication Disorders in 2008. Since that time, she has worked for the North Kansas City School District in the early childhood special education setting. Ashley accepted an itinerant position for the 2015-2016 school year and currently serves in Title 1 preschool classrooms. In January 2015, Ashley completed her Doctorate of Education with an emphasis in Special Education. Her research explored the barriers to the implementation of augmentative and alternative communication in the school setting.
