Dr. Ann Friesema, Ph.D., LCPC (IL) is a core faculty member in the School of Counseling. As a counselor educator and supervisor, Dr. Friesema focuses on the inclusion of relational-cultural theory in her teaching practices. As an LCPC in Illinois, Dr. Friesema maintains a private practice providing counseling, consultation, and supervision. In addition to her counselor education work, Dr. Friesema is a facilitator of the Education as Relational Practice affinity group for the International Center for Growth and Development (ICGC).
