Dr. Martin is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) in AR, LA, GA, and ID. Her education experience includes a doctorate in Counselor Education & Supervision from Capella University, a Master of Arts in Counseling from Webster University, and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Central Arkansas. Additionally, she is a registered play therapist supervisor, EMDRIA Approved Consultant, an EMDR Certified Therapist, an AASECT Sex Therapist, a trained Gottman Therapist, and a sand tray therapist, and she has specialized in counseling children, adolescents, and adults, a licensed counselor since 2015. Dr. Martin has taught courses at John Brown University and the University of Arkansas-Little Rock. Dr. Martin believes in the authentic power of the individual and that healing can happen through the importance of a true therapeutic counseling relationship. She is excited about continuing to work with the faculty, staff, and students at Walden U.
