Doctoral Fast Track Option
For ambitious students, Walden offers a Fast Track Option. You can complete your doctorate degree in less time by taking advantage of this new path. Due to this program’s accelerated nature and subscription-based format, students have the potential to pay less in tuition and fees for the life of the program.
How does it work?
With our Fast Track Option, you increase your course load each term and begin your dissertation early to expedite your path through the program.
Which degree programs offer the Fast Track Option?
There are currently two degree programs which offer the Fast Track Option. They include:
Requirements
- Pass a writing assessment.
- Submit an application essay.
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA in the first term for full admission into the fast track option.

*Time to completion may vary by student, depending on individual progress. The Fast Track option must be completed according to the set timeframes outlined in the program of study. If this requirement is not met, you may be subject to additional charges and moved to the Traditional option for the completion of your program.
