Walden students have up to 8 years to complete their doctoral program unless they petition for an extension.
In general, students are continuously registered in the doctoral study course until they complete their capstone project and it is approved. This usually takes longer than the minimum required terms in the doctoral study course shell.

For all graduates of the DBA program over the three-year period beginning July 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2025, the median time to completion was 4.8 years and the median tuition and fees charged were $79,477. These figures reflect only those students who graduated from the DBA program in any specialization and are not reflective of the entire DBA enrollment population.
