Dr. WooYoung Chung joined Walden University in 2020 as a contributing faculty in the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program at the College of Management and Technology. Dr. Chung received his DBA in Information Systems from Boston University. He also received MBA and MS in Information Systems from Boston University. He has a BS in computer science from Heidelberg University.

Dr. Chung has over 20 years of teaching experience in higher education. Prior to joining Walden University, he taught in several online doctoral programs. He also served as a faculty member in several nationally recognized MBA and graduate programs at research universities such as Case Western Reserve University, and Boston University. As a seasoned expert in research methodology, he served as a research methodology consultant for the MIT Information Quality (IQ) Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Throughout his career, he has consulted and collaborated with many Fortune-500 companies, other leading organizations, and government agencies. Dr. Chung's current research interests include research methodology, executive education, IT-enabled organizational restructuring, IT strategy, and IT strategic planning.
