Shaquan Gaither is a graduate of the University of Baltimore Law School and School of Business. In 2001, she earned her law degree and Masters in Business Administration. Shaquan is an attorney licensed to practice in Georgia and Maryland. After graduating from law school, she worked as a law clerk for a Circuit Court Judge in Baltimore, Maryland. Thereafter, Shaquan entered private practice and handled primarily civil cases, such as contracts, family matters, tort and real estate.
Mrs. Gaither has served as a Contributing Faculty member in the School of Public Policy & Administration for almost 10 years. In addition, Mrs. Gaither has served on dissertation committees as Chair and Committee member for qualitative and quantitative studies.
In addition to teaching with Walden University, she also teaches at Southern New Hampshire University and Savannah Technical College. She has been teaching for the 15 years. Mrs. Gaither teaches such courses as Business Law, Civil Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Ethics & Legal Research and Legal Writing.
