B.S. Forensic Psychology
Phuong Trang Huynh received her PhD in Management and Policy Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health in May 2002. In March 2014, she was appointed contributing faculty member in the Master of Public Health Program in the College of Health Professions at Walden University. Dr. Huynh has held several roles which have involved program and research management and administration including at: the Ministry of Public Health, Thailand (as Coordinator for the Asia Partnership on Emerging Infectious Diseases Research, a six country research partnership); Columbia University in New York, NY (as Assistant Clinical Professor of Health Policy and Management (in Psychiatry) at Columbia University and Deputy Director of the Health and Aging Policy Fellows Program, a national policy program); and the Commonwealth Fund in New York, NY (as Associate Director of the International Program in Health Policy and Practice). In addition, Dr. Huynh has worked in a number of other health-related positions, including in the Texas State Legislature as a Legislative Associate to the Honorable Dianne White Delisi; she worked specifically on drafting health policy legislation as a liaison to the Texas House Committee on Public Health.
