Dr. Penny Devine’s formal training is in Social Psychology. For the past 15+ years, Dr. Devine has taught in a number of higher education positions, teaching courses primarily in Social Psychology and Research Methods. She has also worked in several research positions overseeing projects related to Prevention. At Walden University, Dr. Devine has taught Research Methods, Social Psychology and Foundations in Graduate Study in Psychology.

Dr. Devine’s current research interests focus primarily on stereotyping and prejudice, communication of ethnic identity, as well as some prevention research. She has presented at a number conferences, including the Society for Personality and Social Psychology Annual Convention and the Southeastern Society of Social Psychologists.
