Dr. Cox is co-editor and co-author of the book Research Design and Methods: An Applied Guide for the Scholar-Practitioner published in 2020 by SAGE.

She is a recipient of the Walden University Bernard L. Turner Award and the Presidential Research Fellowship in Distance Education.

Her interests include the application of social psychology principles, theories, and methods to the understanding of social issues and environmental problems.
