Kathryn MacDavitt received her PhD degree at Columbia University in 2007. She currently serves as a contributing faculty member in the MSN Program in the Leadership and Management specialization. Dr. MacDavitt has been a nurse for over 35 years, and has served in a variety of management and administrative roles over the past 20 years. She is currently a manager of Quality and PI for a New Mexico Community Hospital that is part of a larger healthcare system. She has authored a number of publications and presentations on nursing administrative and quality related topics.
