Dr. Kate Andrews – Dr. Andrews spent 2 years in Israel working for the government and lived in Romania for 8 years working with teenage orphans and with adolescents with teen pregnancy and addiction. Dr. Andrews, then, transitioned to working in Industrial-Organizational Psychology coaching executives, teams, and individual employees. She has a Master’s Degree in Education and one in Counseling as well as a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
She developed numerous courses for leadership and technical training and conducted training in every-day life situations including providing parenting and communication strategies for employees. Dr. Andrews has developed curriculum She has provided guidance as a mentor in statistics and research and psychology courses in family systems, drug addiction, counseling, communication, motivation, and leadership. Dr. Andrews serves learners with their dissertations at Walden University, Keiser University, and Argosy University.
Dr. Andrews is the editor of two European and one American journal, has published peer-reviewed research articles, and is the director of a humanitarian organization in Romania. Dr. Andrews currently works with heroin addicts moving towards recovery and has research projects centered on emotional intelligence and well-being, and mentorships in doctoral programs. Her research interests include spirituality and emotional intelligence in the workplace and in education, heroin addiction and ADHD, disabilities services, the Big Five personality instrument, Bowen therapy, distance learning, and group dynamics. She has served as a Research Fellow at the University of Phoenix.
