B.S. Health Studies
Dr. Green has been working in higher education for 10+ years teaching a variety of Health Science, Exercise Science, and Public Health courses. She holds a doctorate in Education with a specialization in Physical Education and Health, master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Curriculum and Instruction, and bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science. Dr. Green is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP-C), and certified Health/Physical Education Teacher. Dr. Green has experience working in various health roles besides the university setting which include working as a personal trainer, community health educator for the health department, and as a K-12 health/physical education teacher. At Walden University, Dr. Green serves as a Contributing Faculty member in the BS Health Studies and Public Health programs. Her research interests include curriculum/instruction in health education/physical education, nutrition education, and integrative/holistic approaches to wellness.
