Dr. Casty is trained in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He has over 10 years of teaching experience across Healthcare Administration, Medical Informatics, Clinical Research and Health Economics. Currently he teaches in the Masters of Healthcare Administration program at Walden University. Dr Casty has also served on several doctoral dissertation committees.

Dr. Casty’s research interest relates to new drug development across several therapeutic areas including pulmonary, immunology and cardiovascular medicine. He has held numerous executive leadership positions in large pharmaceutical companies where he has led global organizations in the area of clinical research and healthcare. He has led over ten major new drug applications in both the US and in Europe.
