Degree ProgramMaster of Science in Nursing (MSN)

I have been in the Health Care field since 1992 and have been instructing Nursing students since 2002 on-campus and on-line. Currently, I teach as FT core faculty for the MSN program at Walden University. My Nursing experience includes Psychiatry, Pediatrics, Critical Care, Outpatient Surgery, Homeless, Addiction Rehabilitation, Community & Public Health, Women’s Health, Float Pool, Geriatrics, Independent Consultant, Traveler Health Care Provider, Tele-Health Care Provider and University Professor. Though these varied experiences, I have been able to see firsthand the trademarks of excellence in patient care. I feel certain that Walden is a great place to utilize and expand this knowledge, experience and passion for the field of nursing that is so critical to the health of our future. On a personal note, I have 5 children and 7 grandchildren. I also provide full time care for my father who has Alzheimer’s and my youngest son who has Autism. Past time hobbies include anything to do with music, reading, camping, kayaking, stargazing, dancing, loving life and nature. I possess a Doctor of Nursing Practice, a Masters and a Baccalaureate of Science in nursing degrees, as well as FNP-C certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
