Dr. Ange-Marie Pompee-Synsmir, PhD, APRN, FNP-C.

Dr. Pompee-Synsmir is a Board-Certified Family Practitioner, specializing in Family and adult medicine. She is also a nurse educator. Dr. Pompee received her Associate of Science in Nursing from Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, NY; Bachelor of Science in Nursing, as well as a Master of Science degrees with Family Nurse Practitioner Specialty and her Ph.D. in Nursing at Barry University in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Pompee has worked in education, health care, business, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies. She is currently working as a nurse practitioner and has been in practice since 2007. She enjoyed taking care of patients but also loved being an educator. Dr. Pompee has held full and part-time nursing faculty positions at various colleges and universities for over 10 yrs. She has extensive clinical experience; she spent over 15 years as a clinical nurse working in medical-surgical, urgent care and critical care units at multiple facilities ranging from level I trauma centers, community hospitals, Rural and Retail Health Nurse Practitioner.
