Shaquan Gaither is a licensed attorney in Georgia and Maryland and works on cases as an independent contractor. After graduating from law school, she served as a law clerk for a circuit court judge in Baltimore, Md. She entered private practice and handled primarily civil cases involving contracts, family matters, torts, and real estate. In addition to teaching with Walden University, she teaches paralegal studies courses at Savannah Technical College in Savannah, Ga. She continues to instruct courses in criminal law, civil litigation, legal research, and legal writing.
