Dr. Tracy Jackson has over 20 years of experience in the social work field. Dr. Jackson has worked with children and adolescents along with their families in the role of therapist, school social worker, case manager, and supervisor. In 2010, Dr. Jackson decided to dedicate her time to higher education at online universities solely. She has assumed the role of educator, leader, mentor, and curriculum designer.
Dr. Jackson has been teaching at Walden University since 2013. She has taught several graduate and doctoral courses in the Human Services Program. She has served in the role of Lead Faculty. She currently serves on several dissertation committees in the role of chair and content expert. Her research interests include racial injustice, multiculturalism in the human services field, and African Americans and mental health. She is a journal reviewer for Walden's Journal of Social, Behavioral, and Health Sciences.
