Patricia Costello has her BA in Psychology and a minor in Biology from the University of St Thomas in St. Paul, MN. She was awarded her PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Minnesota in 2003. Her dissertation work studied attention and perception using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). She taught at a private liberal arts school before starting at Walden University in 2009. She is now the Program Director for the BS Psychology Program. Her current research is on implicit cognition. She is also interested in how adults learn best in the online classroom.
