Dr. Hayes is a 25-year U.S. Army veteran. She is experienced at building and leading diverse teams while designing and implementing organizational change. She is a strategists in organizational solutions and strategic assessments for individuals, corporate, non-profits, private, and government organizations. Dr. Hayes has served at various strategic and operational levels in the military. She has experience working with congressional staffs, government agencies, corporate, private, and veteran service organizations for client management support. At Walden University, she is focused on foundation courses.
Dr. Hayes is a post-doctoral fellow with the Polarities of Democracy Institute where she serves as a board member and was designated the Inaugural Desi Benet Social Change Fellow and has presented at the Center for Creative Leadership on Diversity and Equality and the polarities of social change and democracy. Her current research interests focus primarily on diversity, inclusion and gentrification of underrepresented communities.
