Nancy Schlapman, PhD, RN has been involved in nursing education for over 30 years. She has taught all levels of nursing students and has held several academic leadership roles. Having been employed at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Indiana University Kokomo and Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, and most recently at Walden University, she has spent most of her career in the mid-west. Her area of specialty and expertise is community and public health nursing.
