Dr. Lenaghan received her BSN from Northeastern University and her MSN from University of Rhode Island. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Wilkes University, while working as both a nurse educator and a nurse practitioner. She taught for 30 years as faculty in an Associate degree Nursing program. Dr. Lenaghan is certified as an online educator by the National League for Nursing.
Dr. Lenaghan’s clinical experience has spanned several cities on the East coast, as a staff nurse in ICU, a manager on a medical unit, a nursing supervisor, and a clinical coordinator in the ER. For the past decade, she has been working as a nurse practitioner, managing the primary care needs of homebound patients. She has been teaching in the Walden University Masters in Nursing program for three years. She also teaches nurse practitioner students at Monmouth University.
Dr. Lenaghan is licensed as a nurse practitioner in New Jersey and Minnesota.
