Dr. Ross has her Doctorate in Health Administration and is a part-time faculty member in the College of Health Sciences, where she teaches Health Administration courses in the CBE program. Dr. Ross has been with Walden since 2011 and taught traditional online MHA courses for several years before joining the CBE MHA program. She has been a part of many teams that worked on course revisions and was involved with the early development of CBE competencies. She continues to be involved with committees and teams that create successful outcomes for CBE students. Additionally, Dr. Ross mentors DHA students who are working on their dissertations.
Dr. Ross has worked for over 20 years in health administration in a teaching hospital and a community medical practice. Her experience includes accreditation standards, quality assurance, performance improvement, discharge planning, social work, project development, community education and other areas of healthcare management. She has also served on many committees including Performance Improvement, Ethics, Employee Assistance, Strategic Planning, and Patient Care. Dr. Ross is a member of many professional organizations including the American College of Healthcare Executives.
