Dr. Mary Larscheid has a Master's degree in Social Work and Ph.D. in Human Services. In addition, Dr. Larscheid is a licensed independent clinical social worker for the state of MN. Professionally, the majority of Dr. Larscheid’s work has been with children and adolescents. She has worked in both in-patient and out-patient mental programs; coordinated treatment groups for men and youth involved with domestic violence and assault. Dr. Larscheid has supervised and coordinated programs geared directly at intervention with children. For the past 21 years, she has been a school social worker, working as a mental health professional overseeing the mental health needs of children receiving special education services. Dr. Larscheid is also the author of the book, Educating Elementary Students in Regards to Anger: A Cognitive-Behavioral Approach.
