Ph.D. Education

Dr. Lorraine Cleeton's educational training has been in special education at the Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral level. Dr. Cleeton taught in the New York City public school system for seven years (second grade in a self-contained classroom and remedial reading to bilingual middle school students) and adults and children with disabilities in the UK (twenty seven years). Dr. Cleeton has worked for Walden since 2004 and has taught research courses in the Ph.D. Program and special education courses in the MSED Program. In addition, Dr. Cleeton has been the chair for 25 doctoral students and second committee member for 25 doctoral students.
