Loretta Cain is a contributing faculty member at Walden University who has 7+ years of online teaching experience. She is an epidemiologist and biostatistician by training. Her primary research interests include vulnerable population, health disparities research and big data. She currently working with the Jackson Heart Study via the University of Mississippi Medical Center where she research psycho social risk factors in relation to cardiovascular disease in African Americans. She most recently gave an oral presentation at the 2018 American Public Health Association conference and plans to present a post at the upcoming 2019 EpiLifestyle Conference, sponsored by the American Heart Association.
