Jennifer Keeley is from the Midwest. She earned her B.A. in Biology and M.A. in Science Education from the University of Iowa (Iowa City, Iowa). Jennifer moved out West after completing her undergraduate and graduate degrees and taught high school Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Science in rural California and in Las Vegas, NV. Jennifer returned to school to earn her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). After earning her PhD. , Jennifer accepted a full-time faculty position at Touro University International. Jennifer developed the courses and curriculum framework for the MA in Education Program and the PhD in Education Leadership program and continued to develop, evaluate, and teach graduate courses in the College of Education and Health Sciences for the next ten years. The organizational restructuring of TUI lead to her departure from the University and her subsequent pursuit of her career interest in online teaching and learning. After serving as part-time adjunct faculty for several online universities for several years, Jennifer decided to pursue a new career direction in Public Health, Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She is currently finishing up her Masters in Public Health degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
When Jennifer is not teaching or completing her course work and research in Public Health, she is enjoying the outdoors via skiing and hiking and spending time with her family.
