Richard W. Riley College of Education and Leadership
I grew up in Ohio and received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism/biological science from The Ohio State University. I moved soon after to Arizona where I completed a Master of Arts Degree in Education. After 15 years teaching grades PK-6 in public schools in Arizona as well as in California and Florida, I returned to the University of Arizona for my Doctorate in Elementary Education, Curriculum, and Reading while teaching elementary school half-time.
I have had more than 10 years on-ground experience teaching Early Childhood and Elementary Education courses for both undergraduate and graduate education students in Mississippi, Virginia, Georgia, and Alabama. For the past 13 years, I have been facilitating online masters and doctoral graduate courses for Walden University.
