Dr. Bratton is a play therapist at heart. Her primary experience as a school counselor has been in inner-city school settings, with children of low socio-economic status. She has 15 years of experience working with Pre-Kindergarten to middle school. After working in public schools as a bilingual Pre-K teacher and school counselor, she decided to obtain her Ph.D. in Counselor Education. She attended Idaho State University where she was able to focus her dissertation on using sandtray in the supervision process with school counseling interns. Dr. Bratton has been a university professor for over 15 years.
