Bio: I have been with Walden for over 17 years and am a faculty member, University Research Reviewer, Lead Faculty and have designed courses, webinars, and other teaching aids. My research is in the field of Knowledge Management. My latest project has to do with predictive algorithms for diabetes patients using a fuzzy logic/neural network to learn individual patients patterns of blood sugar.
Social Change: I define social change as those activities which benefit society. The quality of our environment is very important to me. A healthy, supportive environment is encouraging of life in all of its many forms. Plant a Tree! is a program I've developed over the past 30 years. I personally plant a minimum of 10 trees a year. I have also trained over 231 people to plant trees and each has committed to planting at least 10 trees each year. We've planted forests.
