Donna L. Clews PhD, RN, NEA-BC, currently serves as Contributing (Part Time) Faculty with Walden University in the College of Health Sciences. She has served in this role since May 2016.
Dr. Clews has 20+ years of experience in Health Care administration at the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer level. She has held positions in both Multi System Tertiary Care Medical Centers and also in Community Hospitals. She is certified as Nurse Executive Advanced, NEA-BC, through The American Nurses Credentialing Center. She also has 10+ years of experience teaching in online programs. She has taught several courses including Motivational Leadership, Nursing Research Methods, Qualitative Skills in Nursing Administration, Quality Outcomes and Financial Management in Healthcare Organizations, Managing Complex Healthcare Systems, Role of the Advanced Practice Nurse, and Caring for a Multicultural Society.
Dr. Clews received her PhD in Nursing at New York University in May,2002. She received her MSN and NP from The University of Pennsylvania in May,1989.
She currently holds a license as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia.
