Dr. Lupo’s educational background includes a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Forestry from Auburn University and a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) from Walden University. Dr. Lupo has over 10 years of combined experience in online and brick and mortar college-level instruction. She has chaired multiple dissertation committees in a variety of subject areas and has worked for several years as a university research methodologist. At Walden University, Dr. Lupo serves as Contributing Faculty in the College of Education working with dissertation students in chair, mentoring, and committee roles, particularly as it relates to research methodology.
Dr. Lupo’s current research interests focus on using qualitative or mixed methods approaches to understand specific elements of social phenomenon, particularly as it relates to the areas of education and work, stratification, inequality, race, ethnicity, gender, and family. Dr. Lupo has 9 publications, as well as several published abstracts and poster presentation, and has presented at numerous academic conferences.
