Dr. Cesar A. Aquino is new to Walden University. He received his PhD in Healthcare Administration at Capella University and MBA in Healthcare Management at University of Phoenix. He has been teaching for the last four and half years and currently teaches online courses to PhD, MBA, and undergrad students at several universities. He also finds time to teach a face-to-face course in Healthcare Continuous Quality Improvement at UCLA Extension. At Walden, he is training to become a Doctorate Capstone Mentor for the School of Health Sciences in the Health Services division. He is working currently on a research project that involves the application of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in finding out the true feelings of Cytotechnologist’s about computer-assisted Pap tests.
He is currently employed by the Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley, California as a Cytotechnologist, where he examines human specimens for precancerous and cancerous changes. He is a member of the American Society of Cytotechnology (ASCT), American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). For him, just being able to use his credentials to impart knowledge to his students, is his major work accomplishment.
