Dr. Gibbons is an adjunct professor for over 10 years. She has her Bachelors in special/elementary education, her Master's in special education/reading, and her Reading Diagnostician Doctoral Degree. She teaches reading at Gateway Regional High School. She has a passionate about learning and teaching researched best practices in literacy instruction. She believes in using diagnostic assessment to guide her differentiated instruction in the classroom. She uses ongoing progress monitoring to adjust her instruction and enhance student achievement. She believes in learning communities and teacher facilitated peer led discussions. In her spare time she enjoys reading, writing, researching/learning, and running.
