Dr. Frazier is a qualitative researcher, private practice director, and counselor educator. He is also an ordained United Methodist minister. He serves as the chairman of the Mississippi State Board of Examiners for Licensed Professional Counselors. He is also the editor of the Mississippi Counseling Association journal, the Journal of Counseling Research and Practice. He is a licensed professional counselor and a board-qualified supervisor in Mississippi. He is a national certified counselor. Dr. Frazier serves as a member of the Board of Ordained Ministry, chairperson of the Health and Wellness Committee, and chairperson of the Order of Deacons for the Mississippi Conference of the United Methodist Church. Dr. Frazier is a past president of the Mississippi Licensed Professional Counselors Association, and he served as the chair of the Bylaws Committee for the American Counseling Association. In 2006, Dr. Frazier received the American Mental Health Counselors Association’s Mental Health Counselor of the Year Award and the Mississippi Licensed Professional Counselors Association’s award for Licensed Professional Counselor of the Year. Dr. Frazier is a faculty member in Walden’s PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision program.
