Background

Dr. Stewart has worked in higher education for more than 8 years. She has professional experience as a rehabilitation counselor, community therapist, and college counselor. Professional accomplishments include being the recipient of the Counselors for Social Justice 'Ohana Award. She is actively involved in the American Counseling Association, the Texas Counseling Association, and the Texas Association for Counselor Education and Supervision. Dr. Stewart has been a contributing faculty member in Walden’s School of Counseling since 2010.
