Dr. Falkner has more than 30 years of experience providing clinical mental health services to individuals, couples, children, and groups in private practices in Dallas and Oxford, Mississippi. She frequently provides clinical training in redecision therapy and utilizes transactional analysis gestalt, psychodrama, and Ericksonian hypnosis. Dr. Falkner is a sought-after workshop leader and has presented her research on financial wellness for the American Group Psychotherapy Association Annual Meeting on multiple occasions. She served as a member of a keynote panel for Louisiana Group Psychotherapy as an expert in redecision therapy. Dr. Falkner is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-MS), a board-approved LCSW supervisor, and a member of the American Counseling Association, the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, and the Association for Specialists in Group Work. Recent publications include a co-authored chapter on counselor self-care. Dr. Falkner is a core faculty member in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, where she serves as the primary lead for group counseling, supervises practicum students, and participates in residency program experiences.
