Dr. Ambrose brings a wealth of higher education experience, having served as chair of counseling programs at Argosy University, Salt Lake City; as director of clinical experience for the Master of Education in Counseling and Human Development program at Lindsey Wilson College; and as a staff clinician for counseling services at The University of Texas at San Antonio. She is a licensed clinical mental health counselor and a licensed marriage and family therapist, as well as an American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy approved supervisor. She has expertise in training clinical supervisors in addition to providing supervision for counselors-in-training and counselors seeking licensure. She currently volunteers at a youth drop-in center for LGBTQ teens, where she provides positive support and mental health education along with her therapy dog, Ryder.
