Dr. Edwards is the clinical director of a community-based mental health agency. She also serves as the program director of a faith-based transitional housing program for women dealing with substance use disorders. As a licensed professional counselor and master addiction counselor, Dr. Edwards owns a private practice offering individual, family, and couples counseling and counselor supervision and training. She is a member of the American Counseling Association; NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals; and the International Association of Addictions and Offender Counselors. Dr. Edwards became a contributing faculty member in Walden’s School of Counseling in 2013.
