How long does it take to earn a concentration in accounting?

It takes only one and a half terms (three courses) to earn a concentration in accounting. Simply register for and complete three courses from the list of accounting electives. The concentration will be added to your transcript once you have successfully completed your chosen three courses.

A concentration in accounting is a great way to learn more about the field, particularly if you are pursuing a degree in business or management, or if you work in a field in which accounting is important, such as human services, healthcare, or public safety. It does not prepare you for licensure as an accountant but it could lead you to further study in the field.
