Alex Lazo

My name is Alex Lazo and I reside in Southern California with my wife and three children. I have lived in and around this area for over 30 years. I enjoy spending time with my family, as well as an active lifestyle that includes traveling and dining at exotic restaurants (when we are able to splurge a bit). I possess an extensive corporate and academic background in management and information technology. I started my career as an IT professional, first in technical capacities and later as a director for Fortune 500 corporations. My transition to academia started in 2004 as an instructor of IT courses for adult students. In addition to teaching, I have worked as an academic administrator for a start-up school, establishing the educational offerings and navigating the school through accreditation. I hold a PhD from Capella University in Organization and Management, with an emphasis in IT Management. I possess a Master’s in Management Information Systems, as well as a Bachelor’s in International Business, both from California State University, Fullerton.
