We pride ourselves on the diversity of our student body and the knowledge and experiences each and every one of our students brings into the community.

We offer:

  • More than 80 degree programs with more than 370 specializations and concentrations, including programs focused on education, health, and business.
  • Official recognition by The University Council of Jamaica (UCJ) for four degree programs in the field of education.*
  • A commitment to social change, which is weaved into the coursework.
  • Comprehensive, around-the-clock, support services.

Our students and alumni from the Caribbean come from many of the islands in the area including Trinidad and Tobago, the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, and Puerto Rico. These students have earned degrees in education, business, public health, and more and are applying their knowledge and skills as managers, teachers, and nurses—to name a few.

*The University Council of Jamaica (UCJ) has recognized Walden’s Doctor of Education, MS in Education (accelerated specializations included), MS in Instructional Design and Technology, and MS in Early Childhood Studies (competency-based Tempo Learning not included) programs.
