Yvonne Ward, Ph.D. LCMHC, QS, LCAS, CCS, obtained her doctorate in Counselor Education & Supervision at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. She has worked in human services for the last 30 years helping individuals from marginalized groups to achieve their goals. She has a passion for teaching and mentorship and uses experiential learning to assist students in putting concepts into context. She has studied abroad, traveling to London, Vienna, and Paris. She has a joint publication in the International Journal of Social Science Studies, and a published article in the Carolina Counseling Newsletter. Yvonne looks forward to the opportunity to dialogue with other professionals about opportunities to be a change agent.
