Wendi Diaz-Morales is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and has been a nurse for almost 20 years She received her MSN from Walden University and is currently completing her DNP. Wendi Diaz-Morales has an extensive nursing background which includes working in mental health, geriatrics, nursing administration, and entrepreneurship. Her most recent endeavor is joining Walden University as contributing faculty in the PMHNP program. Aside from being an entrepreneur, her key focus and passion involves public policy and merging the nursing profession and politics to encourage nurses of all levels to become elected officials at the local, state, and federal level. This consideration is to propel the power of nursing throughout the world, as well as to ensure independent full-practice authority for all nurse practitioners.
