Dr. Wanda Morancy is a board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Barry University. She has served in the acute clinical setting as a staff nurse, charge nurse, and preceptor. She has been teaching at the post-secondary education level setting since 2017. Her love for learning fuels her passion to teach and empower students and clients via education. Her passion is to promote health via person-centered care. She currently practices in the community setting with geriatric clients in primary care. Her research interests include culturally- competent and tailored strategies to bridge the gap of health disparity, promote health literacy, person-centered care, and well-being.
